Aluminum MXD (Mixed)

Alum MXD, or mixed aluminum, refers to a blend of various aluminum types that may include painted, coated, cast, or extruded aluminum, often with non-aluminum attachments such as plastic, rubber, or steel. This category is common in scrap recycling and requires additional processing to separate and clean the different materials. Though less valuable than clean, sorted aluminum, mixed aluminum still contains recyclable metal and is widely accepted at most recycling facilities.
