Copper #2

Copper #2 is scrap copper wire or tubing that contains some insulation, corrosion, or other contaminants, making it a lower grade than Copper #1.

It may include copper with attached plastics, paint, or minor oxidation. Despite these impurities, Copper #2 is still recyclable and valuable for metal recovery.
