Unclean Aluminum Wheels

Unclean aluminum wheels are automotive wheels made from aluminum alloy that still contain non-metallic or foreign materials such as plastic center caps, valve stems, wheel weights, or steel inserts. While the aluminum base is still valuable, these added components must be removed before the wheels can be classified as clean scrap. Commonly sourced from vehicles, unclean wheels require additional processing, making them slightly less valuable than clean aluminum wheels in recycling markets.
