2' P&S

2' P&S is a category of heavy steel scrap that has been prepared by cutting structural and plate metal down to pieces no longer than 2 feet in length.

It includes dense materials like steel I-beams, thick plates, heavy pipe, and other industrial steel components. Because it’s smaller than 4' P&S, 2' P&S is typically easier to handle, transport, and melt down in recycling operations. Galvanized or high-chrome material is not acceptable for this grade.
